Dr Jordan Hecker
General Dentist (DDSc. MELB, BBio. Med. Latrobe)

Jordan obtained a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from La Trobe University in 2015. He has held a fascination with dentistry ever since having orthodontic work as a child, and witnessing the remarkable care and extraordinary work that the Smile Council went through to give him a perfect smile. With many pathways open to him, he decided to pursue a career in dentistry and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne in 2022.

Jordan currently works part time at the Bundoora Dental Clinic on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Jordan practises all aspects of general dentistry, but finds particularly satisfaction in preventative and restorative dentistry. More satisfying than returning a fractured, broken tooth to full function is giving a patient the necessary tools and knowledge needed for adequate oral hygiene, leading to a healthy dentition well into the future.

In his spare time, he has always enjoyed immersing himself into science-fiction and fantasy worlds of literature and film, and has a passionate love for gaming and film music.
